About Me
I'm Phil Marshall and am 30 years old, and live in
Burscough,
Lancashire,
UK.
I'm engaged to a fantastic woman called
Julia, who I have been seeing for 5 years.
I am now a Senior Programmer / Analyst in the
Computing Serives Department of
The University of Liverpool.
Before this I attended St Johns (CofE) Primary School, Priory High School (now Priory Science College),
Winstanley College, and
Liverpool John Moores University.
I spent for years on Liverpool John Moores University studying for a BSc (Hons) in
Software Engineering. During my 3
rd year Sandwich year, I worked in a very similar job to I do now, within the University of Liverpool, which went some way to getting my job after graduation.
I am a Christian and attend
St John the Baptist Church in Burscough where I am currently a member of the
PCC as well as being one of the leaders of the
FROGs Youth Group. I also co-ordinate the use of the
PA and Projection systems in Church. I was also the Duputy Warden between March 2001 and March 2006.
Recently I have also been working on producing videos for use in the Church services and the housegroups.
Since 1998 I have been involved in
The Westenders. We are a small theatrical group in Burscough. Primarily I am the Sound Engineer for the group, although I do help with writting the scripts (well being there while they are written mostly!!!), set building etc...
I am a supporter of
Wigan RLFC, but don't get to as many games as I really should.
I am a share holder and supporter of
Burscough Football Club, but as with the rugby I don't get to many games!
Verse of the day
“Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.”
